At CFNM, we make starting CrossFit simple, fun, and non-intimidating. If you are new to the program, you will begin in our ELEMENTS classes. Because our focus is on quality instruction, safety and effectiveness, you must complete at least 8 classes of ELEMENTS before entering our group CrossFit classes. Clients with no previous experience in similarly demanding training must also progress through a series of sessions via either the ELEMENTS classes or private sessions before being eligible for the open CrossFit classes.
These initial training sessions will allow us to both familiarize you with the program as well as carefully teach you excellent technique for the program’s foundational exercises. This will ensure that both you and your coaches are able to train you to the fullest potential. Clients who do have previous experience may be eligible to enter classes directly. Generally this requires at least a few months of similar training at a reputable facility or recent athletic training experience. If you feel you’re prepared to enter directly, please call us for a FREE session assessment. If we believe your skill and capacity are adequate, you will be able to begin attending classes immediately. If we feel you’re in need of work, we’ll require you to attend either the ELEMENTS program or private sessions.
Easy 4-Step Process
Step 1. Call or Email CFNM

Step 2. Sign up for ELEMENTS
The next step is signing up for 1 month of ELEMENTS training. This is a 12-class program that will provide you with the technique and skill necessary for keeping you safe and maximizing your results when you enter the group classes. ELEMENTS classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30am AND Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. To signup for ELEMENTS: please call CFNM: 415.878.1355
Step 3. Group Classes
When your coach feels you are ready to move on to group classes you can start coming to any of the classes that work well with your schedule. To view the CFNM class schedule click here.
Step 4. Get into it!
The other (informal) step is to educate yourself and become a part of the CrossFit community. This can happen in many ways.
